Need help connecting an NFC sticker? Add your box first, then use the Set up NFC button in its row.
  1. Open this Packing tab. It is in the row of tabs at the top of the Command Center. The left panel is called Add a box.
  2. Create the box record. In Add a box, type a name in Box label (for example, “Kitchen appliances”), type what is inside in Contents summary, choose its destination, and add its room. In RFID / QR tag, type a short ID such as KITCHEN-01. Choose a status, then select Add Box.
  3. Find the saved box. It appears in the Box inventory panel on the right. Find its row and select Copy NFC Link. The Command Center copies that box’s private link.
  4. Pair the physical sticker on your iPhone. Open Apple’s Shortcuts app, tap Automation, tap +, then choose Create Personal Automation and NFC. Tap Scan, hold your blank sticker to the top of the iPhone, name it KITCHEN-01, and tap Next.
  5. Tell the shortcut what to open. Tap Add Action, search for Open URLs, choose it, tap the URL field, and paste the NFC link you copied. Tap Next, turn off Ask Before Running, and tap Done.
  6. Test it. With the iPhone unlocked, tap the sticker. The Command Center should open on Packing and show that box’s details. Repeat steps 4–6 on your iPad; Apple requires a separate automation on each device.

Important: you do not need to find, type, or know the sticker's hidden RFID number. Shortcuts learns the physical sticker when you scan it in step 4. The optional sticker nickname is only a label you create for yourself.

Helpful backup: write the same sticker nickname on a small paper label attached to the box. If a sticker stops working, search that nickname in Box inventory.
