One simple two-device workflow

Build and maintain every box here on iPad; use iPhone only to pair and scan NFC tags.

Checking cloud sync…
1. Build the master record on iPad

Save the label, one-item-per-line contents, destination, and sticker nickname to Box Inventory.

2. Sync it to iPhone

Choose Push cloud changes. On iPhone, sign in with the same email; the box list then pulls in automatically.

3. Pair the physical tag

Find the box, choose Set up NFC, then use the copied private link in a Shortcuts NFC automation.

Full NFC setup instructions
  1. On iPad, create the box and choose Save to Box Inventory. The box and its contents stay here as the master record.
  2. Choose Push cloud changes. On iPhone, sign into Life OS with the same email; it pulls the cloud copy automatically. If needed, use Settings → Pull cloud.
  3. In Box Inventory, find the new row (it appears first). Choose Set up NFC, which copies that box's private link, or choose More → Copy box link.
  4. On iPhone in Shortcuts: Automation → NFC → scan and name the tag → Add Shortcut. Add a URL action and paste the copied link, then add Open URLs and pass it that URL.
  5. Save the automation as Run Immediately. Scan the tag to open a dark, focused box lookup with only that box's contents. Choose Open full packing only when you need to edit or manage inventory.
  6. To reuse a tag, delete its NFC automation in Shortcuts, then make a new automation by scanning the same physical tag. The tag itself is reusable.
